I have to admit even after having four babies, I still get nervous, excited and scared all at the same time. Plus, people are always asking me how far along I am. Fill in the dates on the countdown

Once you’ve printed off your countdown, write down the beginning date of each week of your pregnancy. To figure out the exact weeks leading up to your due date, you can buy a pregnancy calculator wheel online. Or, you can use one of the many pregnancy due date calculators available online.

Start adding your stickers

The funnest part is adding your stickers each week. If you have kids, it’s also really fun to get them involved and let them add stickers week by week as well. I purchased my stickers at the Dollar Store. I tried to get some shimmery pastel-colored stickers that matched the colors of the printable. They turned out adorable.

I loved the way this pregnancy countdown turned out. It’s such a fun and easy way to remember this exciting time in your life. I run into this dilemma every time my kids get invited to a birthday party: What do I get for the birthday present? Well, I finally found a solution that is practical, affordable and is a guaranteed hit. Every child loves this present every without fail. So check it out.

Sometimes I feel like among all four of my boys, I am buying a birthday present for another party about two or three times a month. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like a good birthday party as much as the next person, but I wanted to make my life a little easier. Then, I thought of this great idea for a present.

Money balloons birthday present

Here’s what you do. Go to the bank and withdraw some crisp $1 bills. You can take out $10 or the same number of $1 bills as the age of the birthday boy or girl (if they’re under 10 years old, it makes the present even more affordable). Then go to the party store and pick out same number of Qualatex 11″ clear balloons as dollar bills.

Then, take your $1 bills and insert on of them into each of the balloons. You can also ask the person who will fill the balloons to insert the money as well. Make sure you tell them that you want hi float into the balloons. If you don’t put hi float in your balloons, they won’t even last 24 hours before they start to droop to the ground.

Then, attach the child’s favorite soda or drink and candy bar to the ribbons hanging from the balloons. You can’t really go wrong with Gatorade and a Mamba.

Voila! You’re done. Wow, that is a pretty awesome birthday present for us $20! Plus, the child can keep the balloons on display or pop each one of them and gather the money. It’s their choice.

We first got the idea of giving away money as a present when our neighbor gave our son a box of balloons with money inside of them. We just took it a step further with the helium and the clear balloons.

My boys gave this present to their cousin who was turning nine years old. He got nine balloons and $9! It didn’t take him very long to pop every single one. It was great!

Of all the ways that you can have a gender reveal, this one just might be the most fun. We combined the ever-popular smash cake with the energy of our four crazy boys and it couldn’t have turned out more exciting. Here’s how you can do this yourself as well.

Since this is our last child, we wanted to involve all four of our boys during the gender reveal. But all of the ideas on the Internet didn’t seem to fit. That’s when we thought of a smash cake. It was perfect. My boys were stoked and we had a blast watching. Here’s how we did it.

Gather your gender reveal supplies

The best part about revealing the gender of your baby with a smash cake is how EASY it is! You don’t need hardly any supplies at all. Here’s a list of items that you’ll need:

• Two box cake mixes
• Two containers of store-bought frosting
• Pink and blue plastic safety pins
• Blue, pink and black writing gel icing

Get everything ready for the reveal

First things first, bake your cake. I just combined the all of the ingredients for two store-bought cake mixes. Then pour your cake batter onto a butter cookie sheet and bake according to directions on the box. Then, ask your ultrasound tech to write down your baby’s gender and put it in an envelope. Give a friend or neighbor the envelope, frosting, cake and one plastic pink and blue safety pin. Then they can insert the correct safety pin into the cake and then frost it without you seeing.

Start digging!

You might want to pull out the camera for this part. Gather your kids and place the cake on a flat surface in the kitchen. It’s going to get really messy. Tell your kids to start digging through the cake. My kids really got into this. My two oldest boys smashed their faces into the cake right away. It actually took a little longer than I thought for my kids to find the safety pin. And guess what?! It’s a girl! We couldn’t believe it.

I started crying because I was so shocked. I thought for sure it was going to be a boy. Needless to say, we were all screaming in excitement. It was really the perfect way to find out what we were having. I would highly recommend it. Here’s a video of the entire experience for your viewing pleasure.
