Our teachers do a lot for our kids. So, I designed these simple teacher appreciation gift tags as a fun way to say thanks. Just attach them to your gift with some ribbon. Your child’s teacher will love it. Check it out.

This year was like any other in terms of teacher appreciation week. Due to the Corona virus, we weren’t able to do all the fun festivities. However, all of the parents in my son’s class donated money and we were able to put together an awesome gift basket. Here’s what we did and how you can do it too.

Print your teacher appreciation gift tags

There are a total of 12 gift tags that you can print out for your teacher. You can use them all or just pick and choose. Download your printable below.

Cut out each gift tag with a paper cutter and then punch a hole in each one with a hole punch. Attach each tag to the applicable gift with a piece of string.

Buy gifts for your basket

I was fortunate because there were a lot of very generous parents who contributed towards the group gift. We had enough money to provide a great gift basket. Here’s what I bought:

• G2G Protein Bars
• Jar of nuts
• Bottle of soda
• Mexican restaurant gift card
• Any restaurant gift card
• Amazon gift card
• Bath and Body Works gift card
• Water bottle
• Apple
• Flower seeds
• Chewing gum

Assemble your gift basket

These teacher appreciation gift tags wouldn’t be complete without a cute basket to put it all together. I found a cute red basket and then lined the bottom with crunched up tissue paper. I loaded all of the items inside. Then I finished it off with a cellophane bag and a big red bow.

The entire basket wasn’t that much work to put together. It felt great to do something special for our awesome kindergarten teacher. She loves each of our kids so much and we really appreciate everything she does every day.

A gift card bouquet is seriously so easy and perfect for pretty much any occasion including Mother’s Day, birthdays, coach gift, teacher gift, graduation and Christmas! Here’s everything you’ll need to make your own.

So, this gift card bouquet happened to be for our preschool teacher. It is her very last year of teaching so all of the parents pitched in to get her something nice. In total, we got $350! Here’s how I made it.

Buy the gift cards

Gift cards are great because the person you are buying for gets to splurge on something she wouldn’t normally buy herself. I tried to buy a variety of gift cards. Plus, you can order a lot of them on Amazon and save some time. I ended up buying gift cards to the following places:

• Amazon
• Cheesecake Factory (restaurant)
• Local day spa
• Movie theater
• Italian restaurant
• Smoothie restaurant
• Coldstone Creamery
• Book store
• Target

Make tissue paper flowers

Tissue paper flowers are so easy but they add so much color and pop to your gift card bouquet. I made nine flowers of different varieties. All you need is the following:

• Scissors
• Stapler
• Multi-colored tissue paper
• Bamboo skewers
• Hot glue gun

Assemble your gift card bouquet

Once your flowers are done and the gift cards are purchased, you’ll need just a couple more things to throw it all together:

• Basket or metal tin
• Floral foam
• Ribbon

Place the floral foam into the basket or tin. Then, hot glue the gift cards to the non-pointy end of the skewers and then push them strategically into the floral foam. Add the gift card (hot glued to skewers) as the very last step.

The look on our preschool teacher’s face was priceless when we gave her the bouquet. She loved it so much she started crying. We could tell it meant so much to her, especially since it was her last year of teaching.
