Alright ladies, here’s the ultimate guide to a fabulous girls’ trip to Magnolia Silos in Waco, Texas. Whether you’re headed for a day or two, or staying for the week, you’re going to have so much fun (it’s not even funny). And I’m here to help you, so check it out!

So, I am always up for a girls’ trip and when I heard my neighbor went to Magnolia Market with some of her friends, I thought, “I’m totally doing that.” And it was super fun! We flew into Dallas, Texas and stayed there and just drove to Waco for one day. It’s also a must to rent a car. It’s pretty difficult to get around without one. So, without further ado, here’s 10 “gotta do things” for your Magnolia Markets girls’ trip:

#1: Magnolia Silos

This is an obvious one. Joanna Gaines has transformed these cottonwood silos into a legitimate national and international tourist attraction in Waco, Texas. This 20,000 square-foot shopping complex covers two full city blocks. Here’s what you’ll find there:

• Magnolia Market
• Magnolia Home
• Shops at the Silos
• Magnolia Seed and Supply
• Silos Baking Co.
• Magnolia Press

You can easily spend three to four hours there. Come hungry and try out some of the food trucks and delicious baked goods. We came on a Thursday and it wasn’t crowded at all. One of the cashiers said that Saturdays are packed, so try to avoid the weekends if you can.

Here’s a quick two-minute tour of the Magnolia Silos for your viewing pleasure.

#2: Hey Sugar Candy Store

This is an adorable little candy store that is literally a five minute walk from Magnolia Market. They sell chocolate, old fashioned candy, milkshakes, lollipops, cotton candy, homemade waffle cones, old fashioned sodas and homemade ice cream. Even if you don’t like sweets, it’s still worth the visit.

#3: Dr. Pepper Museum

Just one block down the road from the Hey Sugar Candy Store is the Dr. Pepper Museum. Since it’s so close to Magnolia, we couldn’t not stop by. The gift shop and and soda fountain any time without paying admission. Or you can show up and pay $10 and see the entire museum. It was fun!

#4: Spice Village

Founded in Waco in 1997, Spice Village has 60+ individually owned boutiques displayed a 30,000 square feet space in the Shops of River Square Center. It is so cute! There’s something for everyone there. We spent at least an hour wandering around and looking at all of the custom and unique items from home decor to apparel to souvenirs.

#5: Magnolia Table

Magnolia Table is a breakfast and lunch restaurant that serves the most delicious home-grown food. Many of the entrees come from the same recipes that are in Joanna Gaines’ cookbook. Plus, the restaurant is rich with history. The restaurant was built in 1919 and was called Elite Cafe. You can even find menus from the old establishment hanging on the walls. Get there early because they close at 3 p.m. We put our name on the list and then came back. It worked magically. They also have a take-away area if you don’t have time to sit down and eat.

#6: Little Shop on Bosque

This is the original home of Magnolia Market. You can find just as many cute and unique items at this store but at discounted prices! Yay! Plus, it’s worth a visit just to see the rich history of this huge empire created by the Gaines family.

#7: Fixer Upper house tour

If you’re a big fan of Chip and Jo’s HGTV hit Fixer Upper, then you have to drive by at least one or two of the homes that they remodeled on the show.
