Creepy Halloween Bark in 3 easy steps
Halloween bark is so easy and quick. It’s the perfect addition to your next creepy par-tay! Check it out.
So, I used my Halloween bark for my annual scary dinner with the fam. It was a hit with the kids and adults alike. Here’s how you can do it too.
Gather your Halloween Bark ingredients
The sky is the limit on the candies that you want to add to your Halloween bark. But here’s a list to get you started:
- Chocolate chips or chocolate almond bark
- Pretzels
- Gummy worms
- Candy eyeballs
- Bloody axe candies
- Skeleton bones
- KitKat
- M&Ms
- Candy corn
- Parchment paper
Melt and spread the chocolate
I dumped an entire bag of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and cooked it for one minute. Then, take the bow out and give the chocolate a stir. Cook it in the microwave again for 15 seconds this time, then stir. Repeat this process until the chocolate is completely melted.
Then, pour the melted chocolate chips onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread out the chocolate with a spatula.
Add your creepy candies
Now for the funnest step of them all. Take your yummy candies and strategically place them all over the chocolate. Put as much or as little as you want.
Allow the chocolate to cool completely. Then break it up with a knife and place the jagged chunks on a platter for all to enjoy!
This delicious and creepy dessert is sure to become a tradition every Halloween. My boys devoured them!
