Ditch the toys and create memories with experience coupons (plus 85+ ideas)
The last thing our kids need are more toys. So give them something they’ll remember for years down the road with experience coupons! They will be happy and you will be happy. Win! Win! Check it out.

Last year for Christmas, I decided that I was tired of giving my kids a bunch of toys that they break or forget about within a week. So, instead, my husband and I chose to give our kids experiences instead of gifts. I thought that my kids would be upset, but it turns out, it was a really good idea. Here’s how you can do that same thing.

Print your experience coupons
I designed these coupons so that you can fill-in-the-blank in the space provided with the coupon of your choice. There are six coupons included on one 8.5×11 PDF. You can just print it at home or send it to your local copy store. I like to print my coupons on cardstock for extra durability since you might hang onto these for a while before your kids redeem them. Just click on the link below to download your coupons.

Brainstorm your experience gift ideas
Now for the fun part. Once you’ve printed your coupons, you’ll have to start thinking about what kind of experiences you want to have with your kids. The sky is the limit as far as the things that you can write down on these coupons. The best part, is the PDF that you download below (here’s the link one more time), includes 85+ gift ideas. I’ve also included these ideas below and broke them down into sections.
