S’mores in a bag: the only campfire treat you’ll ever need
If it’s camping season, that means it’s time for s’mores. But no one likes the sticky fingers and gooey messes. That’s why you should try s’mores in a bag, the best campfire treat in town. You’ll never go back. Check it out.

Our family loves camping and we’ve tried a lot of different variations of s’mores, but this is the first time we’ve ever done s’mores in a bag! It was super easy and super delicious. My kids had a lot of fun with it and all the gooey mess is contained in a bag. Win-win for everyone.

Buy your campfire treat supplies
The sky is the limit on what you can add to these s’mores in a bag. Here’s the basics and you can add more if you want:
- Chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips
- Marshmallows
- Ziploc sandwich bags
- Scooby doo graham cracker sticks
- Mini Nilla wafers
- Fudge stripe mini cookies
- Nutter Butter Bites

Start building your s’more in a bag
Before you start cooking your marshmallows, you need to prep your ziploc bag. Place a small handful of chocolate chips in your bag followed by a small handful of your cookie of preference. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can put multiple varieties of cookies in your bag. Just don’t fill it full because you’re going to be eating this afterwards!

Once your bag is prepped, cook your marshmallow to perfection over the campfire. Two marshmallows work best but one will work in a pinch and then add them to the bag of goodies. Use a fork or spoon to mix all the yummy ingredients together and then dig in!

Sticky and gooey never tasted so good. You can eat straight out of a bag with a fork or a spoon. Some of the kids turned the bag inside out and ate directly off the bag. Either way you do it, it’s going to be delicious.
