Play the M&M Thanksgiving Gratitude Game this year around the dinner table
It’s easy to forget to be grateful when you’re stuffing your face with turkey and pie. That’s why this Thanksgiving Gratitude Game is the perfect dinner table favor to help you remember how much you are blessed. It’s a fun and sweet game for the whole family. Check it out!
I made these table favors for our Thanksgiving dinner last year with my family. Everyone loved it and it was so easy. Here’s how you can make your own Thanksgiving Gratitude Game right now!
Download and print your game
First, you’ll need to print out your tags that you will attach to your bag of M&Ms. I designed these tags to be small and simple. They are 2″x 2″ and there are 20 tags to one 8.5×11 PDF. Just print and then cut each one out. You can also send it to your local copy store and ask them to print them on sticker paper. Then you can just stick them to the M&M bags.

Cut and assemble your game
This gratitude game is awesome because it doubles as a Thanksgiving table favor as well. First, you’ll want to cut out each tag either with scissors or a paper cutter. Then, attach the tag to a 2″x3″ resealable cellophane bag. Next, fill each bag with M&Ms. Personally, I love peanut butter M&Ms, but you can choose your favorite.
Play the game!
Once your cute table favors/gratitude games are done. You can place them at each table setting at your Thanksgiving dinner. Then, while every is eating, take turns picking one M&M out of your bag. Then, answer the gratitude prompt on the game. For example, if you choose a red M&M, then name one person you are grateful for. Continue until everyone has had a turn or you run out of M&Ms.
Other ways to use the M&M Gratitude Game
Although, this game is perfect for Thanksgiving, there’s lots of other ways or places to play this game. Here’s just a few examples:
- Christmas dinner
- Camping trip
- Family night activity
- LDS Sunday School, Relief Society, Young Women or Primary Activity Days

- Road Trip
- Classroom activity
I hope you enjoy playing this Thanksgiving Gratitude Game as much as we did. Here’s a link to the PDF download one more time in case you didn’t see it above:
