Prep your pizza crust
So, we bought some pre-made pizza crusts at the grocery store. But you do need to do a little bit of prep before you throw on the sauce and toppings. Just spread a thin layer of olive oil over each pizza crust. If you’re using cauliflower crust, you can skip this step.
Make your pizza creations
Here’s the best part. Start with your sauce, then the cheese and finally all the fixings. My kids of course went for the cheese and bacon and pepperoni. The adults loaded their pizzas with lots of veggies and yummy meats. It’s such a fun dinner to have as a family.
We made these pizzas on Christmas Eve with my mom and it’s was a fun way to spend time together and enjoy some delicious food. We will definitely be doing a “build your own pizza night” again very soon. Hopefully this makes thinking of healthy recipes for kids less daunting.
