Relief Society Bread & Jam Social and Workshop
One thing that will almost always get people to come to Relief Society is carbs. That’s one reason why our Bread and Jam Social and Workshop was so successful. Keep reading to learn more.
As part of this Relief Society activity, we wanted a simple evening where we could socialize, eat some yummy bread and hear an uplifting message.
We passed around a sign up sheet a few weeks before. People signed up to bring fresh homemade bread and/or jam. I was surprised by all of the different types of breads and jams. They were delicious!
We also included a couple of platters of different cheeses for variety and for ladies with dietary restrictions. It was a nice touch.
Then a gentleman from our ward gave us an uplifting message about prioritizing our lives so we don’t leave out the important things. He involved everyone and we all left with goals in mind about how to simplify our lives for the better. Overall it was a great success.
