Road trip time! I’m no expert but I have been on a road trip or two with four rambunctious boys. After driving 3,000 miles to Mazatlan and back I realized that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to keep your little squirts entertained. Here’s some invaluable road trip hacks for kids you will love.
Pinterest is riddled with car ride activities such as car ride gifts for kids, travel printables, and activity bags. These are all great, but this time around I didn’t have the time or energy to be creative. So, I looked around the house and realized I already had plenty of stuff to keep my kids entertained.
Start road trip rummaging
Two words. Junk drawer. I saved time and money by not going to the store and rummaged around my house. I came up with some items that ended up being a home run:

My kids think it’s pretty awesome to have their very own box of band aids but the novelty wears off pretty quick.
