Woodland Animals are all the craze lately and for good reason. These little critters are adorable and they make for a classy baby shower that is not soon-to-be forgotten. Plus, I’ve got FREE printables! Yay!
Alright, truth be told. I didn’t throw this baby shower. I only designed the printables. You can thank my sister, Mindy and her two friends, Vicki and Rebecca for that. But they were nice enough to share some pics from the fun event to share with all of you. So, check out these ideas!
Trail Mix “Thank You” Bags and Buffet
Oh my cuteness! What a great way to say thanks to your guests than a trail mix buffet. This fits that Woodland Animals theme perfectly and who doesn’t like an all-you-can-eat trail mix buffet?
Here’s what you’ll need to create your buffet:
- White polka dot brown paper bags (for the guests)
- Large brown paper bags (for the food)
- Woodland Animals tablecloth
- Circular wood slices (as serving trays and centerpieces)
- Swedish Fish
- Goldfish Crackers
- Chocolate-covered cinnamon bears
- Plain M&Ms
- Chex Mix
- White chocolate covered pretzel sticks
Print out some cute “Thank you” labels and place them on your guest’s paper bag and let them go to town!
FREE Frameable Woodland Animals printables
For an added touch, I designed these adorable Woodland Animals printables of a fox, owl and squirrel. Place them in a frame and decorate the room for the guests to enjoy. At the end, give all three framed printables to the mommy-to-be as a gift. They will go perfect in any nursery. Download using the links below. You have the option of 5×7 jpgs or 8.5×11 pdfs. I offer this printable for FREE to all visitors of my blog, but if you’d like to show your support, feel free to buy me a taco 🌮.
Breakfast quiche buffet
Baby shower’s are almost always held mid-morning, so a breakfast quiche buffet is just the ticket. Place them on a cake platter and your buffet will look so fancy. Here’s a few quiche recipes to get you started:
Then, add a yogurt parfait station, fresh fruit and cinnamon rolls and you’re done! Crazy delicious and super easy.
As a some final finishing touches, you can make these super cute chocolate and peanut butter acorn snacks for people to munch on as the guest of honor opens her gifts.
