Simple and classy Christmas quart jar centerpieces
A quart jar is one item that I always have hanging around my house. You can usually buy them for pretty cheap and they have a multitude of uses. So, when I needed some Christmas centerpieces for an upcoming event, I got my creative juices flowing and made some classy and simple centerpieces using my old quart jars. Here’s how to do it:
#1 Gather quart jar supplies
You’ll need the following supplies for your quart jar centerpieces:
1. Tea candles
2. Artificial berries
3. Artificial pine boughs
4. Quart jars
5. Twine and/or ribbon
6. Hot glue gun
7. Water
8. One or two bags of fresh cranberries
I got all of these supplies at my local hobby store or you can just find them online.

#3 Assemble your centerpieces
This part is fairly self-explanatory, but I’ll give you the basics. First, you’ll want to glue a small piece of pine bough with hot glue below the lip of the quart jar. Then glue a small piece of cranberry right next to that. Next, tie a small ribbon or twine so the bow covers the hot glue. Fill you jar with water leaving about an inch of head space. Place a handful of fresh cranberries into the jar and then put the candle on top.
I love the feel of these cute centerpieces. It gets me right into the spirit of Christmas. For an added touch, you can scatter extra pine boughs and cranberries around each jar. I’m sure you’ll love how these turn out and be happy it didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Let me know of any other cute DIY centerpieces by clicking the comment link at the top of this post. Happy holidays!
