Everyone loves pancakes. Am I right? So, a pancake buffet is double the fun and super, super easy. Here’s everything you need to create your own breakfast extravaganza with free printable labels included!
My oldest said he wanted to have a pancake buffet for his 12th birthday dinner. It was so fun to make his special day even more special with a fun dinner. Plus, everyone loves pancakes so it was a party pleaser for sure. Here’s how we did it.
Gather your pancake buffet ingredients
The best part of your doing a pancake-eating party, is you can put whatever you want on top of your pancakes. But, here’s a good list of ingredients to get you started:
Pancake mix and spreads
Toppings
- Shredded coconut
- Mini M&Ms
- Mini chocolate chips
- Sprinkles
- Banana slices
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Chopped nuts
Drinks

Whenever I do a buffet for a party, I love to spice it up with cute labels. It fancies up an regular dinner to make it just a little bit more special. Just cut these out and fold them in half so they can stand upright on their own. Then place them strategically on your buffet table.
Make your pancakes and arrange your table
I like to use Funfetti Pancake and Waffle Mix. It’s so fun and colorful and my kids love it. If you’re more of a waffle fan they sell some pretty cute waffle makers to spice up the party. Here’s just a few of my favorites:
I also grouped all of the toppings and spread into categories and then put the labels in front of each group on the buffet table:

- Grapes
- Scrambled eggs

Then we just dug in and ate all of the delicious breakfast food. My son really loved it as his birthday dinner and the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was actually super easy and I am definitely going to do this again.
