How to throw a self-serve Italian Soda Bar (with printable poster)
An Italian Soda Bar is the perfect addition to any party or gathering and will impress any crowd. But what’s best is that it is soooooo easy. Here’s some tips to throw your self-serve bar and get your own printable instructions to display on your serving table as well. Check it out.

I had always wanted to throw an Italian Soda Bar so when I decided to host a baby shower for my friend, it was the perfect opportunity. I couldn’t believe how easy it was and everyone LOVED it. They thought it was so fancy. Little did they know how freaking easy it really was. Here’s how to do one yourself.

Gather your Italian Soda Bar ingredients
Alright, to make your soda bar a success, you need to gather the correct ingredients. To cut short on any of these or your sodas just won’t taste the same. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Torani syrups (multiple flavors but make sure you buy vanilla)
- Pumps for your syrup containers
- Black plastic straws
- Sprite or lemon lime soda (you can use club soda in a pinch but it doesn’t taste as good)
- Bowl of ice
- Half and half
- Spray whipping cream
- Maraschino cherries
- 9oz clear plastic cups (the smaller cups seem to be the best portion size for a party or gathering)

Print your printable soda bar instructions
The printable instructions are essential to your self-serve bar. Italian sodas turn out perfectly if your guests follow the five simple steps. If you don’t print the sign, they tend to put too much syrup or forget an ingredient and they just don’t taste the same. Purchase and download your printable by clicking on the link below:

Display on serving table and enjoy!
Arrange all of your ingredients on a serving table and allow your guests to serve themselves. I like to put some paper towels down in front of the syrups to prevent too much mess. It’s also nice to put the sprite in a beverage dispenser to make for easy pouring. Take off the labels of the whipping cream for a sleeker look. And put the half in half in a glass carafe. You can also use 4-inch sugar tongs that your guests can use to put the ice and cherries in their drink.

I hope you liked these ideas for your own self-serve Italian Soda Bar. Let me know how yours turned out in the comments below. Here’s the link one more time to the printable if you didn’t see it before.
