Moana Mocktails: one of the best kids party drinks
If you have kids and you like parties, then you’re in luck. Here’s one of the easiest and best kids party drinks you’ll ever find. They are called Moana Mocktails and they are a big hit and perfect for your next party. Here’s how to make them in a few easy steps.
I am the camp director for our girls camp for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The girls chose “You know who you are” from Moana as the theme for camp. So, naturally, I had to have some non-alcoholic drinks called Moana Mocktails at our camp kickoff. They were an absolute hit and so freaking easy. They are perfect summer drinks for any party for adults and kids alike. Here’s how to make these fun party drinks:
Gather your Moana Mocktail ingredients
Of all the kids party drinks, these Moana Mocktails are probably the easiest. They are kind of like Italian sodas but way more fun. Here’s what you’ll need to make this delicious recipe:
- One gallon Polar Blast Hawaiian Punch (or other similar blue drink)
- 2 liter Sprite or lemon lime drink
- Whipped cream
- Umbrella drink picks
- Colorful straws
- Plastic cups
- Gummy sharks
- Ice
- Lime slices (optional)
Make the mocktail
This part is super easy. All you have to do is combine the Hawaiian punch and the Sprite in a large beverage dispenser. Give it a little mix and you’re done! Yep, it is really that easy.
Arrange your self-serve drink bar
Instead of making all of the mocktails yourself, all you have to do it set everything out buffet style. Everyone can make their own drinks and it makes it more fun. Cover the table with a cute Hawaiian tablecloth and decorate with some palm trees. Place the beverage container with the mocktail in the corner and then display the cups, napkins, umbrellas, whipped cream, bowl of ice and gummy sharks on the table next to it. You could also have them use mason jars for added cuteness.
That’s it! Now, just tell your guests to help themselves. Tell them to pour their drink, add whipped cream and place an umbrella and a gummy shark on top. They can also add ice if they so desire. These kids party drinks are so easy that I want to do them for every single one of our birthday parties.
