Gather supplies for the game
I love this Christmas Don’t Eat Pete because it takes little preparation. All you need are some small candies and the printed game board. That’s it! Here are some good candies that you can use for this game.
How to play this game
Place the “Don’t eat Pete” playing board in the middle of the table and all players gather around it. Make sure everyone can see.
Choose one person to wait in the other room while everyone else chooses a character on the playing board t o be “Pete”. Then, place a small piece of candy like a Skittle or chocolate chip on each of the characters on the playing board.
Call the person chosen back in the room. Instruct them to slowly start eating each piece of candy placed on the board. Once they are about to eat the piece of candy that is covering “Pete”, yell out “Don’t eat Pete!!” before they eat it.
Pick another person to wait in the other room and start the process all over again. Repeat until everyone has had a turn.
I hope you love playing this fun Christmas Don’t Eat Pete as much as our family does. It’s perfect for your next holiday get together with family and friends. It’s also perfect for Christmas classroom parties. Here’s a link one more time to the printable:
