So, we get a lot of packages delivered to our house on a daily basis. And sometimes I see these delivery guys out late into the evening and on the weekends. I am so appreciative of their dedicated work. That’s why having a delivery driver snack basket is the perfect way to say “thank you.” Here’s how you can make one too.

You have three options to choose from: regular, Halloween or Christmas that you can rotate throughout the year. I would recommend printing them on cardstock and laminating them for extra durability. Aren’t they cute?
Find a basket, tray or organizer
The first thing you’ll need is a cute basket to put all of your snacks in. There are lots of options out there, but here’s a few from Amazon that you might like:
- Rolling Metal Storage Organizer – This can be wheeled inside and out of your house easily.
- White Wire Baskets – These white baskets are durable and see-through so the drivers can quickly grab their favorite snack.
- Large Wooden Serving Tray with handles – This shallow tray is perfect for displaying lots of snacks.
If you’re using a tray or a basket, you can either place it directly on your porch, or find some sort of stand that you can place it on so it’s not sitting on the ground. I put mine right on the ground and it seemed to work just fine.
Gather snack and assemble basket
You’ll want to place snacks in your basket that are all individually packaged and won’t melt in the sun. Here’s a bunch of options to choose from.
- Chips
- Fruit Snacks
- Granola bars
- Fruit bars
- Pretzels
- Cookies
- Rice Krispie treats
- Bottled water
- Capri Sun
- Gum
- Protein bars
- Trail mix
- Candy
Honestly, a quick run to Costco and you could get a year’s supply worth of snacks to give to your delivery people. Here’s how my basket turned out. I duct taped some wooden skewers to the basket and to the sign so it would stay upright.
You might want to bring your basket into the house at night so little critters don’t get into it. But, I was super happy with the way it turned out. Honestly, it doesn’t have to be anything super fancy. The delivery drivers are just happy to be recognized for all of their hard work.
