Shark Party Favors
Party favors are a great way to say thanks to all of your child’s friends for coming to the party. I put together these shark gift bags and they were a hit.

First, I bought some blue paper sacks at the Dollar Store. Fold down the top of the paper bag about two inches, then cut some shark eyes, teeth and fin on the bag. Click on the link below to print your own shark cutouts.

Then, you can fill your bags with whatever goodies you would like. Here’s just a few ideas:
Shark birthday cake
There are tons of awesome shark cakes online. So, we did our own variation. I’m not a professional cake maker, so I always go for simplicity. This cake ended up looking harder than it really was.

The wave was made out of a frosted styrofoam cup. The sand on the beach is just ground up Nutter Butter cereal. I ordered the two sharks and scuba diver online. Plus, you can get some palm trees on Amazon.

The only sad part was that I left the completed cake out on our kitchen table and our dog ate half of it! Naughty puppy!

So, for the actual birthday party, we reserved a spot at the local bounce house. It was $75 and well worth the money. They do all the work and my husband and I just sat back and relaxed. My son even said, “Wow! That was more fun than I thought it would be.” Well, I’ll take it.
